Effective Date: April 27, 2026
Huddle ("the App") is an AI-powered NFL analytics tool. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
We do not collect personal data. The App does not require account creation, login, or any personal information to function.
To understand which features are used and to fix bugs, the App collects a small set of anonymous events through PostHog, a third-party analytics service. These events are not linked to your identity and contain no personal data.
Specifically, we collect:
We do not collect: your name, email, IP address (PostHog is configured to discard it), advertising identifiers, the contents of your questions or answers, or your API keys.
This data is used solely to improve the App. It is not sold or shared with third parties beyond PostHog acting as our analytics processor.
Huddle stores an NFL statistics database locally on your device. When you ask a question, the App uses an AI model to generate a SQL query that runs against the local database. Your questions are sent to a third-party AI provider (OpenAI or Anthropic) using your own API key to generate the query, but no personally identifiable information is included in these requests.
The App communicates with two categories of third-party services:
All NFL statistics data is stored locally on your device. Your API keys are stored in the iOS Keychain (encrypted at rest) and never leave your device except when sent directly to the AI provider you've configured.
The App does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. The anonymous analytics described above are not linked to any individual user, child or otherwise.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
